PROJECT PROFILE
The Benter Foundation
The Benter Foundation occupies 6,000 sq. ft. over three floors of mixed-use office space. The client requested our corporate art consulting services to help build a collection that feels professionally relevant and impactful in the community.
To build this incredible collection for our client, we sourced the majority of works from living, local artists. This allowed us to bring in sample works to the space and see them in situ. We filled a total of 13 rooms with works, allowing each floor to showcase a different look.
Several pieces were commissioned for the space, including a series of photographs documenting the organizations the Foundation supports. The photographs were curated into groups and set up to allow for a rotating gallery in the office. Throughout the year, the office team can switch out the work with ease to refresh the space as needed.
This project began after a renovation of the space, so we worked with the textile and furniture choices of the interior designer plus the client’s carefully thought out aesthetic. A catalog and map of the collection were designed and printed to complete the project.

“When we renovated our offices, we wanted to highlight the historic quality of Pittsburgh-made work. We featured local suppliers and craftspeople whenever possible. TASC connected us with many diverse local artists, most of whom were new to us. In the process, we’ve developed a strong partnership and a growing collection of regional art. It's a treat to introduce visitors to this creative work on site or through the catalogue TASC developed. By supporting emerging and established artists, and the entrepreneurial work of TASC, the collection extends The Benter Foundation’s goal of helping to make Pittsburgh even more livable.”
